"The Palm Kamala Beach"
A New MODERN APARTMENT RESORT in Kamala Beach, Phuket. We opened on
the 1st August 2008. Located on the main beach road in Kamala, and ONLY
30 metres from the long stretch of unspoiled white sands of the fabulous
Kamala Beach.
The Palm
is only 50 minutes from Phuket International Airport,
2 minutes stroll to the Beach, and ideally situated for all of the shops,
restaurants, banks and bars of Kamala.
Our spacious luxury Apartments
and Penthouses, all have 2 or 3 King Size Bedrooms, 2 or 3 bathrooms,
Lounge/Dining, Air Conditioning throughout, Satellite TV, FULL Western
Kitchens and Western Appliances.
Add to this all the additional
facilities that you would expect from a top hotel like, Room Service,
Maid Service, Reception, Bars, Gym, Restaurant, Pool Bar, and you have
found the perfect holiday resort.
The unique concept of The Palms modern spacious designs, has proved
to be a true testament to the Thai Architects. They have created The
Palms architecture in the appropriate environmentally preserved

ACCOMMODATION
:: Apartment ::
The Palms have
taken over 4 years from the beginning of the design stages, through
to the final completion and opening date of the 1st August 2008. No
detail has been over looked in making this new resort the ideal destination
for anyone wanting to stay in Kamala, Phuket.
We offer three
choices of Apartment Suites at The Palms.
- 2 Bedroom Family Suite - , which are all situated on our 2nd Floor and over looking one
of our two swimming pools. They have lift access, full air conditioning
throughout, two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge, kitchen/dining,
private terraces, and three satellite TV.
- 2 Bedroom Pool View -, are all 3rd floor suites with lift access,
have both Pool and Sea Views, together with all of the facilities offered
in our 2 Bedroom Family Suite.
- 2 Bedroom Pool Suite -, which
are all situated on the 1st floor, and have direct pool access from
their own private terraces. Together with all of the facilities in the
2 Bedroom Family Suite.
The stylish modern lounge,
is typical of all of our Apartment Suites, which offer both space and
comfort not found in a normal hotel. They all have full size dining
tables and chairs, comfortable sofas and armchairs, together with the
latest Flat Screen TV's and DVD's from Samsung.
The fully fitted
western Kitchens and breakfast bar, luxury Water Hyacinth dining sets
that look out onto one of our swimming pools. Plus your own private
terrace that faces over the swimming pool. If you decide you do not
want to cook in your fully fitted kitchen while on your holidays, no
problem, let our top chefs take care of it for you.
The luxury
Master Bedroom, with King Size individual sprung mattress, luxurious
linen bedding, top quality hardwood floors, fully fitted wardrobes and
dressing table, Satellite TV's, and en-suite bathrooms.
Our
separate Guest Bedrooms come complete with large Twin Beds, which can
be joined together to make a large King Size Bed if required. The luxury
Hardwood floors, fully fitted wardrobes, dressing table, and their own
satellite TV's (which the kids will love), makes this the ideal guest
bedroom for any guest.

:: Penthouses ::
All of The Palm Penthouses are spacious, and offer luxury accommodation,
with three large bedrooms, western kitchen with full western appliances,
three bathrooms, Lounge/Dining, and lower sea view terrace on the interior/lower
level. On the upper level/outdoor area of each Penthouse, there is a
private area exclusive to each Penthouses, where all of our Penthouses
have, Jacuzzi, shower, teak sun loungers, shaded salas, teak dining
table and six chairs, together with a gas Barbeque.
Situated on the 1st floor above our Reception, it is both spacious
and comfortable, but in a modern style. Our aim is to bring to our guests
a FUSION of different international foods in a luxurious setting....
but at the same time realistic and affordable prices. Our top Executive
Chef, and his team, aim to bring to you a top dining experience. Add
the comprehensive wine and drinks list, to complete the total culinary
experience. You do not need to stay here at The Palms, in order to try
out our Fusions Restaurant, we would be please to have you come
and try us for yourself. If you have a special occasion that you would

The Palms Bars
We have two bars at The Palms, (three with
the Pool Bar). One is situated downstairs near our main entrance and
is open from early morning until late at night. It offers an excellent
selection of both food and drinks, all day long, including our award
wining Fresh Ground Coffee, Voted the Number 1 Coffee in all Asia,
and exclusively found at The Palms. Experience our comfortable Lounge
area, where you can relax and enjoy either a coffee or drink, plus we
even have wi-fi internet connections there.
Pool Bars
The Palms is ideally situated near to Kamala
Beach, but it is also good to have a pool to lay by. We have two here
at The Palms and also our Pool Bar to relax with a nice cool drink.

The Palms Fitness Centre
A luxury new modern apartment resort, also
needs a top quality fully air conditioned Fitness Centre. The Palms
Fitness Centre has been fitted out with all of the very latest Cardio
Vascular equipment, together with 3 Stage Multi Gym, and a full selection
of free weights. Leading Fitness experts and Manufacturers JOHNSON,
have been the advisors and suppliers of all of our fitness equipment
seen here at The Palms.
LOCATION MAP
Situated in the very middle of Kamala Beach Road, The Palms is very
easy to find. Once you arrive into Kamala, from either Surin or Patong,
turn off towards the sea. This will bring you onto Kamala Beach Road
where you will find The Palms.
Ideally situated near to everything.
Kamala is the perfect destination to select on the island of Phuket.
Only a ten minute drive away from bustling Patong, you can soon be in
the middle of this busy town, yet within a few minutes, be back in Kamala
again.
With 7 fantastic international Golf Courses on Phuket,
Kamala again is one of the best places to select if you want to play
Golf. The nearest is Laguna Golf Course which is around 15 - 20 minutes
away. The others can all be reached in 30 - 40 minutes.

Good apartment style accommodation for families. Well located within Kamala, although found to be very quiet at this time of year.
Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area not manned or cleaned during the day.

Very nice and big rooms, perfect for our family with little kids. Great pool area, with baby pool. Staff very nice. Perfect location to the beach. This hotel is perfect for family with kids. This hotel made our vacation!

Really great place for people traveling with family n kids..
very clean and friendly service... look out for Mum serving you breakfast and those unknown people from housekeeping who do a wonderful job making sure that the apartment looks and feels clean all the time.... We will not stay anywhere else in Kamala the next time :)

If you are looking for a relaxing and friendly place to stay then The Palms is for you. The Kamala Beach shopping strip is just outside your door. A 7/11 is down the road for all of your kitchen supplies. You can catch a tuk tuk or taxi for 400 THB each way to Patong or you can figure out how to catch the local bus that stops just outside the driveway entrance.

A very nice hotel at a great location.
Nice furnished apartments, also well equipped. The staff was very fríendly.
Areas for improvement: the pool-bar was never manned and the guests had to walk to the reception for attention. The service and maintenance around the pool area needs improvement before everything falls to pieces completely.
Housekeeping also needs improvements, the floor was dirty during our whole stay.

Nice and fresh...a very sleepy hotel that you must work hard sometimes to get the attention from the crew, especially from the empty poolbar. We left our pooltowels on the floor in our room,the maid then stole them and we then have to steal them back, otherwise you have to pay 500 bhat/per towel in a loosing fee....ha ha. We also got acused of braking a glass, eventhou we hadnt´! not so nice...cheap shot to score some extra money to the hotel. Besides this a great, moneyworth hotel close to everything!

Excellent loacation built to high standards, close enough to shopping areas and beach, very low noice level at the rooms, clean and very friendly staff with customer focus made this holiday for my daughter and myself to one of the very best. Recommended! We will be back!!!

A very nice hotel, built in 2008, with very high standards in the apartments. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big combined livingroom and kitchen. Three TVs and three air conditioners. We had a pool access room with afternoon sun on our terrace which was very nice. We liked this hotel very much. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However we thought that the staff working in the breakfast serving were not beeing very attentive at times. They sat on the floor playing cards during breakfast serving at one occasion..! The location of the hotel was very good, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach.

Отдыхали в этом отеле с 29.12.09 по 8.01.10. Самый большой плюс - это номера отеля. Это даже не номера, а полноценные апартаменты огромного размера. Идеально для большой семьи или для двух пар. Всё очень новое, красивое. Хорошо оборудованная кухня с холодильником, мойкой, чайником, тостером и даже термосом. Посуда и всё такое...)). Чай-кофе в пакетиках всегда в наличии. Плоские телеки (кому надо), DVD, спутниковые каналы и т.п. Два санузла, большой балкон с розетками. Всё тип-топ. Для пары без детей эти апартаменты просто избыточны. Есть и минусы. Окно в детской (скажем так) спальне выходит в открытый коридор. То есть при незакрытой занавеске любой проходящий по коридору может заглянуть вам в спальню. Впрочем, справедливости ради, скажу, что движение по коридорам крайне редкое. Отель-то в целом небольшой - народа немного. А вот что действительно печально, так это вид из окон и балконов.Если у вас номер на первом этаже, будьте готовы, что ваша личная жизнь будет на виду у всех гостей и работников отеля)). Виной тому маленькая территория и панорамные окна. Как некая компенсация - непосредственный выход с балкона в бассейн. У людей живущих на втором этаже нет и этой компенсации)) По моему, второй этаж не стоит брать в принципе. Номера на третьем этаже гордо носят имя Sea View. Ох уж этот маркетинг... Ну да, они смотрят на море. И даже, если Вам сильно повезёт с номером, то где-то между крышами домов Вы сможете заметить блеск воды. Но рассчитывать на полноценный вид на море не стоит. Зато хорошо видны горы....))) А это тоже неплохо. Номера на четвёртом этаже - пентхаусы огромного размера. Там уже и вид на море и элементы гламурной жизни, типа личной джакузи, НО за совсем другие деньги...((
Про территорию отеля с уверенностью можно сказать только то, что она есть. Пусть очень небольшая, но гордая и независимая)). Большую часть территории занимает бассейн из двух половинок, который располагается вдоль корпуса. У бассейна есть водопад, мокрый бар и небольшая (очень) глубина. Для детей - идеально. Для взрослых интерес представляет только бар с дешёвыми коктейлями)). Лежаки около бассейна имеются - проблем с ними нет. Хотя зачем при таком море и пляже бассейн? Ах да, коктейли)))) Мы в бассейн залезали только ради них, когда вечером шли с пляжа.
Завтрак, скажем так, приемлемый. Не больше и не меньше. Да,свежих фруктов могло бы быть и побольше, а соки понатуральнее... Но ведь зато повар делает вкусные омлетики и толчеи нет. В целом завтрак не поразил. Видели и поинтересней. Сервис в отеле типично тайский - вежливый, улыбчивый и не очень быстрый. Хороший сервис - проблем не было. В счёт ничего лишнего не включили. Даже по моему забыли кое-что...)))
Камала. Нам в Камале понравилось. С одной стороны спокойное место. С другой - есть абсолютно всё необходимое - рестораны, магазины, массажные салоны и т.п. Последствий цунами не заметно (кроме памятных монументов и знаков). От отеля до моря метров 100 по прямой. Но по прямой на пляж не выйти, поэтому мы ходили по кривой. А это уже метров 300, не больше. Да и магазин с пивом по дороге...)) Пляж чистый, море хорошее. Песок. Вход в море плавный. Имеются в наличии приливы и отливы, но всё в пределах разумного - не напрягало. Лежаки есть всегда, хотя мы и были в самый разгар сезона. Лежак стоит 100бат (один бат чуть дешевле одного рубля). В это цену входит бутылка воды и четверть очищенного ананаса. Зонтики прилагаются бесплатно в любом количестве. Кстати, полотенцами бесплатно обеспечивает отель. На пляже делают массаж (что приятно) и активно ходят коробейники всех мастей (что менее приятно). В конце концов мы у них что-то купили и пришли в полную гармонию с окружающим миром...))) Цены на напитки на пляже вдвое - втрое дороже, чем в магазине - делайте правильные выводы.
