25 Mars 2012 Boris Lyakhovets | Rented room (№ 3) two weeks from 11 to 25 March 2012. Booked via the Internet. During the visit to the island traveled all over the territory and compare terms and prices - at Ban Samet Hill is quite reasonable pricing. If you visit the island for 1-2 days, then we can find that the realties even cheaper. And if the price is not important, that is quite expensive and comfortable hotels. Only for what? Sitting in a room and watch TV?
+
Location - quiet, not vain, cafes and shops close, not far from the pier Nadan;
The room is clean, clean often, the water without interruption;
Free WiFi Internet access;
Low prices compared to similar conditions in other places.
-
A minimum of furniture in the room;
There are shortages of Internet access
Wishes of the owners:
Add the number of chair and table ...
Success and prosperity! | 7.2/10 |
15 Fevrier 2012 Cara Gundry / Adam Eccleston | Really friendly owners but we thought the rooms and bed clothes were not very clean.
It was much further to walk to the beach than described. Set up a hill along a dirty road through a run-down area, this was not a pleasant walk in the dark.
Rooms did not feel secure (poor locks) and we took extra precautions (bottles standing in front of the door and tied up windows as it was easy to reach our room from the ground.
We would NOT stay here again, plenty of nicer places available at the same price. | 4.2/10 |
21 Decembre 2011 Ronald F Cunningham | This place really sucks. no water pressure, I had to use the sink to get the soap out or my butt. the hot water heater didn t work. there was no extra tables to put anyhing on, I had to lay everything on the floor. the bathroom shelf was broken and my tooth paste fell off. the T.V. was worn out with a green picture. the towels were worn out.to leave the building for a walk in the morning they had an old door laying sideways to keep dogs out that I had to pick up to get out. I booked for 3 days and said screw it, We left in the morning and went home. | 4.2/10 |
20 Decembre 2011 StuartStripling | Excellent Cold A/C and clean room, bed a bit old,but quiet location....however: The hotel is up a steep 50 m Hill, very close to the Port on Koh Samed. So it is still a fair walk to the beach past the Official Park Entry office ( which you you do not pay 200 to enter, great!!) But absolutely no service. But then I live in Thailand so did not expect any extra s cos all i wanted was a cheap room, cos friends were staying in a deluxe plc nearby. You get what you pay for. But on any map, it does indicaate it is next to the Park Entrance....not 15 min walk away !!! | 6.4/10 |
26 Aout 2011 Harro Koster | Maybe not the most fanciest place around. Maybe not the most luxurious place. But all that compensated by the very friendly, sophisticated and sweet owner of the hotel mr. Homayoun.
His tip about the island made my stay on Samet really great. | 6/10 |
